No contours = bruised ribs.

Also, maybe at half that price.

Agreed on the bruised ribs. Switching to my Jag feels soooo comfortable after playing my other telecasters. Not as expensive as I thought they would be actually. Still too much though but I'm sure you'll see one around sometime.

i like the white binding on it, reminds me of a jaguar i once saw, custom made with white binding

Not that I'm follower of -Contours are a must- but I like them.
I cannot "hang" onto a guitar while sitting (have CV50s Tele no contours) while I can with my Strat.
Not a big deal but better to have than not. :)
