Post by taylornutt »

I saw this guitar on CL for $60. Are these good guitars and actually worth picking up?

Worth about $300 in good nick.

Also a cool guitar if you're willing to meet it half way.

I thought soliciting prostitution was illegal on craigslist? I mean, it's obvious this guy is trying to get fucked.

Even if the guitar is wrecked the pickup alone is probably worth $60.

The seller is like 42 miles away. He had several people inquire and I would have to drive all the way to his house to get it. Not sure it's worth such a drive when I will probably be beaten to the punch. It's a great deal but I doubt I could be the first one there.

Do it, and DO IT NOW!!!

Well worth the cash and the journey for an old guitar like that!

That's one of my favorite headstock shapes too!

It's not the distance as much I don't want to drive all the way out there for nothing. I want to deal directly with the seller and not hope someone else has not gotten to it first. If he would assure me of dibs, I would make the drive.

I will do what you suggest later and see what happens.

time for a saturday drive, then. take a picnic basket with you.
and an amp.

$60, man. that's a no brainer.
maybe you can even get it for 50, "...y'know, because of the gas".

good luck!

Pat.

Definitely worth $60. Worth $100 even. Heck even for $150 that guitar would still be a steal if it isn't destroyed
