Less then 500 ever made, only seen black on ebay twice... and the factory tremolo is even rarer. If I had a credit card that wasn't maxed out, it would be now. My dream guitar on ebay starting price $800

Story goes the first owner was a crackhead, and had at the guitar with a spade bit & drill. I bought the guitar at a bar for $200, the owner was gigging there. I've seen worst off ones go for $900.

I guess all the collectors are holding on to the BB Ultra Flames, I've yet to see one go on sale.

They also make a Esprit. The Fender Custom Shop makes the Esprit, but it's called the Robben Ford Model, they go for $8,000+. Squier released their own take of the Esprit also.

I remember Fran playing my Flame & comparing to his favorite Ibanez Artist

The abandoned trem looks almost vestigial. Why not but a gibson doublecut, or a prs to satisfy your fender flame needs?

That matsumoto takk signature gibson looks very similar to the fender flame, and has similar controls, gold hardware, etc. Yet you shun it because of the name on the headstock?

i noticed that in the Guitarist Mag classifieds there was a cherry sunburst 84 Robben Ford Flame for sale for £860 with case.

eh, wit? no.

i was more talking about the shite PRS comment, but now that you mention it, the gibson is borderline heinous as well. three knobs? blocks? not my thang.
