okay, the thinline was like 2 months ago. But it never got it's proper thread like it should . . .

basically, on the St. Louie/Chi-Town (or bust) trip, Carl and Chris were oogling over their matching jaguars trying to find pointless details between the two, so I was bored to tears, and finally Chris does something useful and pulls out this thinline that is his friends/bandmates, and I couldn't figure out if it was vintage or a RI, because the clear coat had actually yellowed, which I had never see on the RIs and only sometimes see on the vintage guitars. It is a RI and the guy who had has some acid sweat. To make a long story short, Chris helped me acquire the guitar for a minimal amount of dough and even spotted me some so I could survive in Chi-town.

Cool thing about this guitar is it sounds ace and played much better than any of the VINTAGE THINLINES they had a Chicago music exchange. It plays like a dream. Doesn't sound quite as good as a vintage, but I got it for 1/10th the price.

Second guitar is a 72 Custom I've picked up. It sounds okay and plays okay. I'm not going to keep it. I was hoping it'd play as well as the thinline but it just doesn't. anyways, photobomb.

also, all of these pictures were taken at night without any natural lighting . . .

so that's the best I could do getting half-decent pictures in focus!

i have a big lust for tele thinlines and that looks a steal at that price, if only I could find one over here for less than £200! Great score.
