I've seen some used ones for $300 and under. But I'm pretty sure those are cheap, crappy models, they definitely didn't look as good as the one Andy was playing in that vid you just posted.

I have one of their GAD series, and I love it. I got it for $350 used on CraigsList from some dude that wanted to shift it immediately to buy some stupid obama tickets.
Edit: here are some pics. It has a clear pick guard, which is probably the only thing I don't really like about the guitar.

I love hot rod circuit! I don't think the singer looks so great with long hair though. I can still remember their ratty mustang through a jcm900 tone when i saw them live.

Rob, you can find (at least out here) old 70's guild pretty cheap (in the 3-400 range) pretty regularly. No electronics or anything typically, but they can be found you just have to keep your eyes open.
