.. to use a single expression pedal to manipulate the parameters of multiple pedals? What I mean is that by using a splitter it would be able to link to the expression jacks of a couple of different pedals, not necessarily so that they can be used at the same time but so that I wouldn't need a separate expression pedal for each effect.
If so, how could it be done? Would a stereo splitter work, or would it need a special little box that combines the incoming the signals to a single jack output?

Good question and I'm looking forward to a good answer. I've wondered this myself, in fact I've been thinking that I would like to be able to use an expression pedal or a standalone LFO to control lots of parameters on my pedals that currently have just a pot. I know Lovetone started working control voltage patching into their pedals which seems a really good idea to me. I guess this synthesizer technology never caught on in the guitar world because it's too complicated for the average player who just wants to push the button that makes him sound like Hendrix or turn the knob that makes him sound like Iommi.

The FCV100 (Behringer) can control two MONO devices at once, probably only Volume though. But I doubt that is what you want seeing as most effects or whatever will be "stereo" type connections.

If you only want to control two devices, I'd have thought you could take an ordinary expression pedal, replace the pot with a stereo pot and add a second jack?

As long as the two effects were isolated from eachother, yes.
An Ex pedal with a stereo potentiometer would do it - I don't know that there would be a simple electronic way to do it.

One TRS input for expression pedal (Moog EP-2, Roland EV-5, etc.)
Visual meter for identifying treadle position, color-coded per channel
Five taper presets - each channel can have a different taper selected
Raw - Normal expression control.
Inverse - Heel and toe are flipped.
Anti-Log - Smooths the taper in a TRS-modded volume pedal.
Saw - Ramps up 16x within one sweep of the treadle.
