I like Buddy Guy's demo, but why not have Eric Clapton demo his own signature amp?

The wee one is £857.76 at Thomann. Fuck that. Sounds like they took old circuits, handwired them and added Mercury transformers.
You'd be better off with a clone.

Buddy needs the money more?

Clapton probably was too expensive. I saw this in an email yesterday and just laughed. A signature amp? Seriously? I wonder if anyone will buy these except old farts on TGP who play generic blues riffs in their basements all day.

I admit I'm curious how the Twin sounds, but there's no way I'd pay that much for an amp. I'll dick with one in GC if they ever get em in, but that's about it.

They're PTP hand-wired in America. Adjusted for inflation, they cost about as much or less than the originals did when new.
But that's like if someone tried to sell you a 1984 Apple Mac for $5,200. It's obsolete technology.

Specs wise they sounds utterly brilliant, would love to try the tremolux and twin. But way out of my price range so, shame...

Aye, which is surely what this is? A clone, just one made by Fender.

I did not! Maybe in a wee while, whenever finances sort of level out a bit and I get more of a plan together situation-wise.

Demos. They sound pretty cool. Check out the Squier and AVRI Jag/Jazzmasters right behind the demo guy.

they do sound nice but looking at the price of the 57s they are based on then there is no way I can consider these once EC's commision is added on top

I wish Clapton would go back to his Gibson/Marshall setup from when he first made a great guitar playing record Ala cream and blues breakers
