Fiesta Red? It's pre CBS jag that is owned by a guy on another forum. Is it a refin?

I'm fairly certain that this is actually Coral Pink.

probably a refin. most vintage custom colors have matching headstocks.
also, those tuners are replacements.

I thought it looked like Coral Pink. It could be a faded Fiesta but it looks more of a pink to me.

I would vote faded Fiesta red as well. It's one of those colors that changes a lot depending on the light when you photography it.

According to Reranch, Coral (Salmon) was not an official color but probably Fiesta red that had faded.

Colours don't fade that uniformly, I vote refin.

the difference between the color in the og post and the color rob posted is huge.

I'm with James, I'm 90% certain it's a refinish.

ya'll on drugs. its the same fucking color. one is in my basement under yellow and blue lights, the other is out in the grass. even with that megga difference in light sources they are allmost the same.

if anything, i would say in the 12 years or so mine has been around it has faded more natural. look at the edge around mine. its darker.

or it could be the god damn crazy lights i got in my basement.

HERES AN LANK

link to the owner's website. includes more pics. He says it's a refin. He is unsure what the colour is, but he calls it coral.

Fiesta can fade to be somewhat pink, but not that pink. Coral on the hand looks exactly like this jag with a bit of age.

Who knows?

Knew it was a refinish.

the dude who owns those guitars/site has posted here within the last two years. He posted, left the link, we all talked about how nice his collection was and that's all I remember from him. Cool guy, though. Obviously he likes talking about guitars if he's such a collector.

it's definitely a refin, i remember the massive thread on offset when he was considering buying it. the neck isn't original to the guitar either.

his username is joeybsyc or something.

some lovely guitars on the site and I like the fact that he has a squier section as well.
