I have the 100 watt version from the same series I think, & really like it.... but it's huge and obnoxiously loud.

So considering purchasing the younger cousin as a replacement, which can easily be had under £100

Even though I own a Classic 30 I still miss the marshall 100 watt which resides at my parents home 350 miles away.
------
From what I understand its basically a transistor version of the JCM800.

Any reason why I shouldn't invest in one ?

I will keep the Peavey regardless or at least until I know I'm happy with this Marshall.

If it is a let down, I will keep the peavey as the main amp, and send this up north and sell the 100 watt on.
---------
Can't find fault online except for a few suggesting a speaker change.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

****I'm thinking to myself, I've spent more cash on an effects pedal than this without a second thought, but somehow this purchase seems more risky hahaa.

thanks in advance

Oh SHIT !! Not really...

I enquired... and the seller said they'd ship it for £20 which she then applied to the auction. Don't know if you can see that on there but it's £55.50 + £20P&P.

She left the description untouched which I don't think helped her sale... most would have overlooked the p&p part for the description stating collection only.

Thankfully my auction which fell within a few minutes of this did pretty well. :D
