saw this on the local gumtree and it looked interesting so i gave it a gamble.
the pickups actually sound great, the humbucker mixes really well with the p90 and it also has a push pull to split the humbucker to single.

its a samick artist series Made in korea, ive done a search and found one that looked similar, but other than that i came up empty.
im guessing it had a model number sticker on it a some point.

anyone know what this is? im guessing it was made in the 90's?





either way it plays well and sounds great so ill keep it for now.

I've been in Korea nearly 20 years and have seen nothing like that, even in junkier guitar shops.

Yeh i couldnt find any info, i found one that had humbuckers but it was a bit different still.

the inlays are a nice touch and its pretty decent quality, the neck it similar to another samick super strat style i had a while ago, decent tuners, good frets etc...


the pickups sound really good, i was goin to replace them but their fine.
my favourite setting is p90 and humbucker on together but all thr settings sound good.

i need to adjust the neck a bit, other than that its sweet

That is an awesome looking guitar. My first guitar was a mid 90's Samick strat but it was during the Valley Arts era. I loved that guitar to death (literally).

Never seen one of these before though, I like the shape. It's a shame companies don't seem to make stuff like that anymore (though it almost reminds me of that ESP hybrid thing
