That´s why i don´t use Ceramical´s
too bright , while Orange drops much more fatty sound creamy.

http://www.planetz.com/?p=652 . In part one of this video on tone capacitors, I demonstrate the sound characteristics of 7 different capacitors with dialectrics of different material types.
The caps I try here are: Orange Drop 225P 100V (polypropylene), Mallory 150 series (metallized polyester film), Russian K-409 PIO (paper in oil), mystery vintage yellow cylinder (identified as WMF 1S22 Polyester Film 100v from CDE Cornell Dubilier), the original Epi tone cap from my Riviera (probably mylar polyester film), mystery vintage gray cylinder (identified as Mullard/Phillips Mustard polyester foil/film 630v), and a vintage tropical fish (polyester film).
Everything is played on my Epiphone Riviera P93 with Vintage Vibe Guitars P-90 pickups, through my Vox VT30 on the Boutique Clean model, mic'd with a Rode NT1 large diaphragm microphone.
In the part two, I'll demonstrate how the capacitance value affects the range and usefulness of the tone knob.

shit wrong section

sorta a revelation to me , paper in oil seems perfect match for a telecaster tone for example.

I'm pretty sure some of those samples are being affected by micro-changes in air pressure density. If you listen real close at 0:58 you might hear a slight volume drop for 0.0047 of a second due to a cloud breaking up in the lower ionosphere outside.

And he didn't do an guttrals.

I think it is a home office/study type of area. that is the end of his desk. notice the paper shredder next to it.

My favourite part is the use of all that extra wank cable which is bound to roll off the treble a bundle.

Too bad a decent amp EQ makes the differences utterly redundant.

What type of caps to I need in order for my band to get signed?

NB
Respectable indie not a major, I know this will probably only change your answers by an picofarad or so but nevertheless.

The only difference I could tell is the Russian fish oil thing. I think it had more mojo arrows.

this. any differences that could be had with caps can be had with all of the other knobs you have.

I didn't hear too much of a difference, but I'm sure it would be much more apparent if he were using the right amplification crystals.
