Scumbag Sparkle Flying V with kitty inlay. Change the dot markers for skrampz and this could be the Sloan signature model.

ALSO
i never understood why they decided to make a fucking huge pickguard on v's instead of a fucking triangle shape half guard.

I prefer both the bigger pickguard and refined body shape of the second phase Vees. The 50s ones always looked a bit clumsy around the neck joint to me, not to mention a colour scheme more at home in Shrek's ear than anywhere else.

I appreciate both styles. I also have to say I like the 60's style better when it has the short vibrola trem.

I think Jimi's V that Gibson made for him has the best things you can put on a 60's V. It has the cool inlays, a trem, and the inlaid logo on the headstock.

Lenny Kravitz's V was ok too.

Gibson just did a new V called the Pro.

Ah, the Fernandes/Burny Ken sigs...

I probably ranted and raved about it before, but I ogled and drooled over a single LD-85KK Pink Sparkle Ken Signature model for years over here, that just sat there in the shop. The owner wanted a ridiculous W1.3 million for it (about $1100), but it really was a thing of beauty. Champagne pink but almost silver, with sporadic silver and pinkish flakes giving it a lot of charm from a distance. Curious how Ken did a body switch, he still comes out with various colors of his signature Fernandes Strats in live shows.

The V looks like a good value for that titillating champagne finish, would jump at that thing at the drop of a hat.

LEL.

As awesome as Sloaness is, I think I still prefer the "ORIGINAL EROTIC BODY" of the LD-85KK. The crazy thing is that is says the bodies in this new series are made out of Acrylic Resin Fiber.

Curious how ARF plays and feels.
