MFDs in a Mustang

Has anyone done this? I'm really into those G & L pups and the feel of the mustang guitar. Curious, since they have a strat-size mfd, if it'll fit in the mustang fine. Looked extensively, but didn't find any info, due to offest being down.

If they'll fit in a Strat they'll fit in a Mustang.

Right on, but the pickup has a ceramic mag on the bottom and the pups on the stang seem to sit higher. Wondering if the cavity is smaller or somefin.
