Took the day to go to the Schecter Open House and was blown away.. Deals galore !!! I was a kid in a candy store ... But ultimately I left with this ..... An Ultra Prototype with case for a price I still can't believe I got it for ... Insane ..

It looks like a 2006 Classic but they changed it some . It's one of the prototypes ... Plays like a dream ..

Surprised of the shape difference between the Ultra and the Ultracure .. They're completely different on so many levels . The Prototype is VERY Gibsony . The Ultracure is very Fendery/Grestchy/Schecter ..... Been playing them back to back and they're very different . Both great guitars .

I just wish they had some Bass VIs available that day......

Nice real Nice... makes the ultra cure look a bit bloated and out of shape.

That is way nicer than any Ultra I've seen so far. I really like the headstock too.

That headstock is tits.
That's the route they should have taken for the Hellcat VIs, would make it a much better looking instrument.

Sweet score, indeed. I prefer the look of the Ultra IIIs, but this is pretty sick. And, yeah, there's a big difference between the Ultra and UltraCure; the ultra was a base platform, but they really went another direction.

HA HA, tbh, the ultra cure does that on it's own. UGLAY

whatever this guitar is it's pretty cool looking despite being a schecter

hey rocks, what is that strap you have on the white one (that you prominently display in every photo displaying the guitar body)

Wasn't trying to show off the strap but thanks.. It's a Levy's I picked up a while back but just never used . I'll be getting another strap for that guitar . And a Bigsby.... Damn thing needs a Bigsby.. :D

i like it quite a bit. you say it's more gibsony, is it 24.75 scale?

24 3/4 scale , solid mahogany . I like it . Thinking a Bigsby and Phat Cats are in store . The Duncan Design wannabe JBs are nice and all but I think a P100 variant would be interesting.

I was gonna buy a Levy strap at Sweetwater when I was buying my guitar cases the other day, and found out (through the marketing material) that NICKLEBACK are proud Levy strap users. And Levy is proud to pimp that fact.

I took my money elsewhere. BOYCOTT ANYONE THAT WORKS WITH NICKLEBACK.

Is that guitar neck-thru?

And Nickleback is a guilty pleasure like McDonalds Chicken McNuggets or Cinnabon.
No one admits to liking them, but someone must...

plenty of people admit to liking nickelback. those people are typically douchebags.

As I thought not even a month and I'm changing shit . The Phat Cats completely turned this guitar from great to just awesome .

The Bigsby B-5 is ordered and in route .

And Nickelback sucks . Wouldn't go as far as calling their fans douchebags .. Perhaps lemmings .

That guitar is looking sweet. The B-5 is going to make it even more awesome.
