Okay, I ordered this last week and it came on Friday. It's perfect, fits my lefty jag perfect, and most importantly was only $100. The thing that made me actually do it, though, was the FREE GODDAMN SHIPPING. Which is what makes ordering cases completely not economical.

Get on this goddamn deal. This case is really really nice.

While I was at it, I wanted another normal case for my new Musicmaster. I ended up getting this one since it was also free shipping.

But I would have rather have gotten this one had I not been a cheap ass and scared by the $120 price

All in all I'm really, really surprised how nice these cases are for the prices, I'd toss this shit on an airplane if I could still fly without having my nuts groped.

Anyway, just figured I'd put that out there in case anyone else is looking for some nice cases for their jag/jazz with free shipping.

Thanks for this links! How is that Gator case for your Musicmaster? Is it tight? I want a hard case for my Mustang, and I might even get that Jag one for my Jagmaster, since I've decided to keep it after all.

Yes, very very snug. The headstock and butt end actually get into the padding so there's no movement, plus the neck is stabilized so it doesn't shift around either. I'd trust the TSA goons with it on a plane.

That's what I needed to know. I'll order now.

if that Gator could hold your stang, it could hold my classic vibe well.

I would think so. The problem with Mustangs is that they're longer than Strats, so often they won't fit in many cases.

Huh. Did not know that. I can confirm that my Musicmaster fits, though it is a snug fit.

Yeah I remember seeing a Mustang and Strat side by side in my multiple guitar case and being shocked that the Mustang is the longer guitar. The Mustang body is longer than the Strat by over an inch and then it's a 22 fret neck so it's actually only about 3/4" shorter than a Strat neck. Combine the two and the Mustang is longer.

my 65 RI mustang does not fit into my G&G Strat/Tele case.
But it might fit in others.

The poormans G&G - the $40 Musicians Gear (from Musician's Friend) - looks like it might fit.
I'll have to check.
