If you're even vaguely interested in this sort of thing, it's a no-brainer at $0.99 USD.
When Animoog was released for iPad (also for $0.99), it was on my birthday and ended up being the reason I bought an iPad immediately. I tried the iPhone version for a few hours on Wednesday, and while it's equally great, I find the interface incredibly restricting when compared to the iPad version; I'm obviously biased in this regard.
