FINALLY released the Weevil Knievel album!

I sat it on for ages, unhappy at many of the sounds, performances and mixes, but I
finally wanted a bit of closure. Sooooo, here's a slab of fizzy geekrockpop I was involved with!
"Recorded somewhere in the misty past (2008/2009-ish) but finally mastered over Christmas 2011, this is the LONG-AWAITED posthumous Weevil Knievel album, referencing such pop culture landmarks as Myspace and Fame Academy; as important today as they were in 2009."
For fans of Weezer, Arlo, Nada Surf, Beach Boys, overuse of doubletracked vocals

I love it Dewg, if you recall I bought This Is Where The Chorus Goes CD years back, I will be purchasing this download in a few days when I get back home.

It's not a
perfect record by any means (I find the vocal performances pretty bland but ehhh) but it's nice to get it out there;
Wooden Dog and
Lame Academy are my faves, they feel like the most "accomplished" things we ever did.

i wish i still had that video of me playing the demo of place to go.
hearing it on the album in its FULL REALIZED FORM yada yada yada is really cool.
i think i was playing the doogcaster after i put it all together for you
