Inexpensive custom pickguard & truss rod cover?

I want to have a Les Paul Junior style pickguard made in 1-ply translucent tortoiseshell for my Les Paul Special. And a matching truss rod cover. I've made my templates.
I know I could get these made by a number of specialists on the internet for about $60 plus $17 shipping. Some charge tax as well, I think.
Anyone on this forum have the material and care to cut these for me at a good price?

Hmm I could do it, but that material is probably expensive. Post or send a picture of what you want, an example of the material and the pick guard shape would be ideal. This is a floating pick guard yeah? Probably pretty thick arch top style stuff, even the blanks I've seen for that cost around $60.

Oh right. I somehow missed that whole Junior bit. Well still pretty simple, without any routes for the pickup or anything.

Yeah, I've made a template that is similar to the LP Jr. Of course it starts behind the neck pickup...no routing... and has that same S-curve sloping down to below the bridge pup.
I need the 1-ply tortoise that's used for acoustic guitars so it's translucent...some of the TV Yellow will radiate through the tortoise. It'll be applied by dual-sided adhesive sheet.
The truss rod cover will have to be screwed down as is the current cover, because I don't think there's enough flat surface for adhesive tape to work.
I know tortoise is expensive. I'm hoping to find a builder-luthier who has some left over from other projects. I'll need 5" x 6" total.
Not sure how to send a template on internet. Pretty lo-tech. Shoot, I'm no-tech compared to most of you. Of course I can USPostal Service mail it.
