I'm afraid it's such an ugly finish finding a solution to doing it diy it has never come up. There are plenty of guides to get rid of it though I imagine.

check out reranch. they have a ton of forum threads and DIY guides to sunburst.
that finish is essentially just a two tone burst, so you should be able to find plenty of info there.

1. eat a bunch of butter
2. cram a bunch of petroleum jelly in yr anus
3. have the runs into a coffee can
4. mix with some kind of lacquer/polyurethane binding agent.
5. spray onto a guitar body that you want to ruin.
6. let it dry.
7. fist your face.
8. ???????
9. DIE

White body with gray burst. Then spray tinted clear over top and turn it all Antigua. I don't know where you can find gray nitro.
