That's an Eko.. They've been back in business a few years now . Made in either China or Czech Republic . Eko back in the day was the original maker of those and actually made them for Vox along with the Phantom and Teardrop..

It is ugly. However, the idea's there, and with some redesign, i'd like it.

I think it's only ugly because of the hardware and bad pickguard shape. With less generic hardware, and something that suited the look of the guitar it would be very classy. It doesn't suit the burst finish either.
