If I wanted to keep the 3 switches on the bottom plate of a Jag, how would I modify the wiring to completely remove the rhythm circuit? I did a quick search and nothing obviously popped up...

Let me know your tricks.

1. Take the wire from the neck pickup and wire it to the first switch where the wire comes down from the Rhythm circuit. Remove old wire.
2. Take the wire that goes from the Vol pot to the Rhythm circuit and run it to the jack
3. Remove all other rhythm wires

Done.

haha, I actually really like the rhythm circuit, I just don't have the bracket, so I'm trying the jag without it.

...you guys just don't understand the subtle modesty of the rhythm circuit...
just have to get to know him.

To be honest, when i first got my CP Jaguar i was thinking 'bout removing the rhythm circuit too, as i did on my CP Jazzmaster. On the Jazzmaster the sound was really muddy, but not on the Jaguar. So it looks like i can get some decent sounds out of the rhythm circuit....but that's just me...

There's no modesty of the rhythm circuit. If I turn the tone knob to the left, I have a rhythm circuit.
