I was cracking up when I saw that "accordion input." I see that all the time on old amps and think to myself, "did I miss a whole era of music when people were plugging in accordions?" I mean really, do accordions even have output jacks??benecol wrote:Any news on them doing a new range of amps? Maybe a 4 watt head and a 15" accordion combo? Squier making anything nice like a 70's strat or a tele with a Jazzmaster pickup in the neck?
Yes, if you look at European electric guitars, there is a reason why a lot of them have accordion materials. The same factories that were making lots of accordions switched to electric guitar when Rock & Roll became popular. Before there was a guitar boom, it was accordions. And it makes sense if you think about it. The accordion was portable, loud, and relatively cheap.mordechaister wrote: "did I miss a whole era of music when people were plugging in accordions?"
