New guitar day!
Best guitar I've ever played hands down. Feels fantastic. Would recommend a Gordon Smith to anyone.

Golly that looks lovely.
Is it me or is the pickup closer to the neck than normal?

Very cool. I have heard good things about Gordon Smith's, never tried one though.

Oo lovely - was it made for you? Coil split on the humbucker? Been onto John and Linda again myself, lately...

Maybe, and only maybe and one day, a Graduate. It was about how big a neck John could make.

yessss, I love my Gordon Smith, similar to that but with only a bridge HB and a wrap around.
Did you order this direct or is it second hand?

Nice!
I always look what DC models are on ebay, fancy another GS1 at some point.

Double cut away or Single? Or the slimline? They are lovely. Lot of guitar for the price

It's second hand, the guy I bought it from had it made for him, and it's the exact spec I was planning on emailing them asking for. Bone nut instead of brass, coil tappable, tune-o-matic instead of wrap around and a neck humbucker rather than a bridge. Kinda creeped me out when I saw it in a music shop near to me (guy that owns the shop is a friend and was selling it on behalf of the owner. Called me up when it came in)
If the pickup is closer to the neck than usual, it must be by millimetres. That's where the truss rod access is.
But holy fuck, I cant get over how good the neck on it is.
