Eh, maybe they're onto something.
I'd certainly give them a shot, if they don't cost twice as much as a regular set of D'Addarios.

No idea what exact alloy they are using but I woudn't be surprised if nickel and aluminum were present in some concentration.

That combination forms what we refer to as Alnico. Exciting pickup pole pieces with the same material that they are made of doesn't seem crazy to me...

THIS IS GOING TO TOTALLY REVOLUTIONISE MY PLAYING!

Actually, no... no, it won't. I love people trying to sell minutia.

I guess I'd give them a go, but past experience with EB has been pretty iffy.

Still wanna try the Elixir Polywebs that Youtube truthspeaker/jerk Scott Grove raves about while they're still available; the fact they stay bright for YEARS has gotta be worth the money.

Ditto, on both accounts.

I love polywebs.

Anyway I'm not too sure on these ernie balls, they cost ALOT considering. I think they'll probably be similar to the Optima gold strings, great in the short term but financially not really viable for anyone that plays a lot.
