I am in love with my new amp. Paired with my Les Paul's Neck pickup.

Why didn't I own one before? Halfstacks are lame as fuck!

Fuck an orange too.

It sounds so perfect. Should I put my weber speaker in it? or leave it alone?

I respectfully disagree, half stacks rule. Oranges are cool too.

I'm assuming you have a 1x12, if it sounds perfect then leave it as is and save the weber for a later date.

I have had my HRD for about 6 years. It definitely sounds great with an LP. My Jags or Strats can be pretty piercing through it. It's tough to describe I guess, you kinda have to fiddle with the settings, because sometimes just flipping the pickup switch(es) will take you from boomy/muddy to ice pick/shrill.

I just ordered the Eminence C-Rex, since it gets such great reviews in these amps. I'll report back once I swap it in. I'm still on stock tubes too, so once I get the speaker broken in, I'll swap them out as well.

My friend from one of my previous bands just got one a couple months ago. It really does sound awesome!

But I disagree about the "Fuck an orange" comment though. I like the HRD, but I would LOVE an Orange AD30.
