I was just looking at this on their website yesterday.
I borrowed the Fender "Golden Age" book and some of the pictures look like stuff I've seen from Rumble Seat. So I went on there to see what they currently got.

That Ibanez looks almost identical to the one me and James owned.

Oh wowwwwwww, that guitar is really tasty. Makes me think of the Ovation that Josh Homme is really famous for playing. I think I might prefer the ovation headstock but the horns on that guitar and the white pickups with the white shit around them looks uber slick.

Oh wowwwwwww, that guitar is really...
...really heavy. Top quality guitar though, and I often wish I still had it.

+1.
I've owned a ridiculous amount of guitars over the years and this one sits in the top five.

Those are all bad ass. I haven't been able to come across an Ibanez Artist yet, how are the necks? The Ibanez I've owned and played, always have that thin neck & flat board.
James, the Fender Flame was a heavily chambered alder body with a spruce top, weight isn't an issue with them. Have carved tops always been chambered, or was their a time when you bought a vintage Les Paul... and it was actually a solid piece of wood from front/back.

I'm fairly sure that Ibanez was chambered, and then the chambers filled with iron.
Joking aside I think it was just solid wood. It wasn't massively heavy but play it standing up for half an hour and you'll be able to feel it afterwards. I'm fairly sure that even Gibsons vary a lot in terms of being chambered or not.
