Jolana bass trouble

I didn't know where to put this, so be free to move this post.
I am fixing up my jolana bass and split apart its guts because they were dead or on the verge of dying.
The two pots, (one whitch never worked) are manufactured by TESLA and have values printed on them which i don't understand.
Here's a picture of pots with the same labeling as mine.
look at these pots
I have the 1M and the 25M pot installed in the bass. Now, i measured their values and the one labeled 1M said 128k and the 25M said 220k.
I think that 25M seems like an overkill and that these kung of pots are not available, and i do also have the suspicion that the pots after 50 years don't give me a proper reading of their actual values.
What do you guys think i should do?
Just put in pots with the value my DMM spits out or has anyone of you a knowledge about these pots?
