5 watt tube amp Custom made for Slash by Marshall. Pretty cool. Any truth to the rumours that Marshall would make a 5 watt AFD combo based on this amp?

Bear in mind Slash's bedroom is probably the size of a normal person's house.
I have a Class 5 Marshall and love it to bits. Dunno about the appetite model though. Or the one pictured. Don't know much really just wanted to make that joke about Slash's bedroom and say I had a Class 5.
I'll go now.

Wait, what?
What's this about the 5 watt AFD?
I got to try one of the hundred watt version and it totally ruled so hard.
Ugh. I normally don't really like modern Marshalls and the stupid sig wasn't helping but I can't deny it, It was absolute molten, mushy bliss. I wouldn't say it sounded particularly Slash-like but I can understand why he'd be okay with having his name associated to it.
Somehow, I doubt it would be possible to really articulate the characteristics of that amp, using puny el84s to push a 10 inch speaker but I'm definitely interested in seeing them try it.

Why the fuck would SLESH be play guitar in his fucking bedroom? Its not like he's got roommates or parents he needs to be afraid of annoying.

From the afd100.com/blog:
"Wanting something with valve tone but for more home volume, our design team put together an all valve 5 watt amp as a gift for Slash (note, this was well before the conception of the Marshall Class5), only two were made (one for him, one for us!) and for the first time in public, the amp can be seen here in the picture gallery! Slash was blown away that so much trouble had been taken with the amp, even down to having a custom Slash logo on the front panel and as he fired the amp up in the foyer of our theatre we casually filmed it in view to posting it on the ‘insidemarshall’ YouTube channel. The video ‘Slash Visits Marshall’ has had over 100,000 views and more than 300 comments, mainly with people discussing whether or not it was Slash, and what the amp is he’s playing."

I still think it's funny as hell that he wanted a practice amp. I now imagine SWISH living in a duplex worrying about neighbors complaining about the noise.

That would be fucking awesome. "Hey SLIPPY, cut that racket out it's almost 9:30! Your mom put your pee jays in the dryer so they'll be all warm and toasty for you!"

If I were Slash I would be connected to a sound system via wireless with speakers in every room so i could entertain guests in the living room while in the toilet taking a shit with my top hat and sunglasses on. Bad form.
