I kind of want to give Mike a call and tell him that I'm seriously interested in his well being and that everything is going to be ok. I see this reposted every couple weeks and for some reason it always tugs at the ole heartstrings.

I am reluctantly selling my vintage 1962 (pre CBS) Fender Jazzmaster electric guitar. This guitar as you can see is in excellent condition with the original case. It has the rare original Blond finish. You can see the wood (Ash) grain showing through as you should with the blond finish. It has the original hang tags and bridge cover. This guitar is all original. The serial number is 70XXX. It has the coveted slab rosewood fingerboard. The vintage guitar 2010 price guide list this guitar value between 8500-10,000. Certainly this guitar would be on the upper end of the price scale. I am not a dealer. I am a long time frustrated 64 year old guitar player finally realizing I am never going to be in a band. This guitar is light in weight. If seriously interested, you may call me at 530.205.9583. My name is Mike

Very sad indeed. It's not his only guitar is it?

Maybe; I think he's been trying to sell that guitar for like six months now, though.

what a terrible idea that he just now realized he's never going to be in a band. i realized that like 8 years ago and i still play the shit out of my guitars.
