Has anyone tried one of these? I've been thinking about picking one up, but there's a disconcerting lack of information about them online; no reviews, youtube demos, etc. Also haven't been able to find any at local music stores. On paper they look good, and at about 100 bucks cheaper than a Baby Taylor or Little Martin I'd be willing to take a chance on one.

I've never been impressed by a fender acoustic. The ones with the classic fender headstock look cool but other than that they don't have anything going for them. I'd definitely shell out the extra for a baby taylor or little martin if you're in the market for a small travel sized acoustic. Both of those actually sound and play really well.

I think it's cute.

I bought my son a 3/4-size Squier acoustic quite a few years ago and I absolutely love it (shame he doesn't). I've played Baby Taylors and they're okay, but there's not a whole lot of extra value in them over the Squier (which I think was about £75 versus the £250 or so a BT cost at the time). The Squier is very bright-sounding, which I like, but it may not be for everyone; I guess the Taylors and Martins sound 'warmer'.

The yamaha version is my favorite. I'll try one of these out if I ever see one in person though.
Taylor GS mini is pretty cool too but a little bit bigger. I loved it at first but not so sure now.

i passed on a "fender newporter" with a strat headstock at a pawn shop for $70 years ago, and i kick myself every time i think of it. it played great, but i was unemployed, and had just drunkenly spent $300 at the strip club for my best mate's bachelor party.
