I went into a shop recently to try out the Red Witch Fuzz God, but the language barrier between myself and the English guy behind the counter meant that I ended up trying out a tiny mini pedal made by Red Witch. Turns out they have a series of them called The Seven Sisters and I was playing the ruby fuzz one. It was really nice. It seemed to become a couple of different fuzzes depending on where you set the fuzz knob, like it didn't just get fuzzier but completely changed character. Anyone any idea what it is or what it's based on? I'd be interested in finding out the other ones too. I'm assuming the

I'm not too sure about the 'seven sisters' theme or aesthetics, but the enclosures themselves look cool. They shoulda just left the batteries out altogether and told people their pedals were 9V DC jacks only innit. My lappy is only about six months old, and the battery holds half the charge it did when new... and I have it plugged-in most of the time. So in conclusion, the L-ion thing = possibly wasteful, but try telling people they shouldn't use batteries.

I don't have a problem telling people not to use them. I hate working with batteries.

Sister midnight, the wild child... the sister you'd outwardly scorn but inwardly covet.
Dude! You covet your sister? Ewwww!

Yeah, it's not like you're scottish or anything. That's a fucking language barrier.

I wondered for a split second if the "7 sisters" theme was going to refer to the Cherokee Indian religion, but only for a split second. I've been living near the reservation too long lol.

The Red Witch stuff looks great but costs far too much $$$ for my tastes.

i don't have a red witch fuzz but do have their famulus which is OD and fuzzy dist...well more fuzz..and that box is so fucking good and versatile, too nad it only has one stomper because i like its light od harmonics and then the fuzz side which is fabbbb.... they're a quality company.
as you know my tgd died... and true no other fuzz is so schizophrenic but the fuzz side of that compared to the famulus, in cheer accurate yet heavy open fuzz..the red witch wins.

I still really want to try the proper full fuzz pedal.

Wat? No wait, WAT?

Yeah, power on lies would be better on these pedals IMHO. The tiny enclosure is a good enough selling point.
Not had the pleasure of 'kicking the tyres' on one of these yet.

I did briefly have one of the old chromed Fuzz God's, the germanium version. It was a very nice fuzz.
Ultimately too nice. The wrath switch made some odd noises, but even they managed to sound tasteful.

I'd always liked the sound of the Moon Phaser, but even in NZ they are ridiculously priced.

Hmmmm. I received some monies for my birthday from my folks, and thought that the Fuzz God would be a nice gift for myself, something I could take home and that was made in NZ.

I hadn't realised they were soooo expensive. No Fuzz God for me it seems.
