Just picked it up tonite. 3 1/2 months wait was well worth it. Playing a short scale again will take some getting used to. Mastery Bridge is on the way and I think a PG change is in my future. Sounds great. Very stable but strings do still move a bit on the threaded saddles. If anybody has any questions I'd be happy to answer.
Yeah totally hate the trem there. I'd rather use a buzz stop Seriously tho, you've got a really beautiful guitar there. Mabes shim the neck, raise the bridge, put on some heavier strings and adjust your pickups to get it juuuuust right.
I love the look of these. Something about the finish makes them look a cut above the rest of the Jaguar range Fender offers at the moment. Almost as though a little extra care has been taken to make sure it looks classy.

The colours do look a lot deeper than your standard jags.
Ooh! That is one tasty looking Jag! I see from you photo, and from info I gathered off of Fender's website, that they incorporated some ideas from the CP, into the 50th (vibrato plate closer to the bridge, and hotter pickups, but thankfully, no tune-o-matic bridge). Is yours a CIJ, like the Thinline Jag I have on layaway? BTW, IMO, it's not necessary to go to a buzzstop, a Mustang bridge, or a Mastery bridge on a Jag. Ditch the wimpy strings Fender puts on them, and put a set of 11s on (or better yet 12s - that's what I use on Jags). The extra string tension (although, not excessive IMO) will pretty much get rid of strings jumping off of saddles, and from my experience, make it sound a little punchier.
