Hello!!!

finally after more then a year of GAS I pulled the trigger and bought one of those sixties fender acoustics on ebay, a 1969 fender newporter
as always with these sixties fender acoustics, they go for a bargain (thank god for me) since they have reputation of being poor sounding acoustic guitars
Well, this guitar sounds great, very Martin OM kinda sound, sharp highs and clear lows (all together a different animal then my L 48 which sounds a lot heaver and fuller)
Now I will focus on a villager or shenandoah

Thanks !

well, actually i guess it is never been used. There is some very slight fretwear on the first frets but after that it is flawless

I guess it was bought, played for sometime and then put in the closet

These were back then the entry model for fender acoustics around 140 usd back then

I had to do some work to get the action properly but now it is playing very nice

i picked up a 12 string villager not long ago,its not as in good condition as yours but they are great guitars , i love mine and the 12 string necks on these things are really easy to play.

it sounds pretty good, less bassy than my other fairly new 12 string acoustic.

i love playing it, im probly gonna take out the pickup thats in the sound hole, maybe that will open up the sound a bit.
it works but doesnt have enough volume, probly needs a preamp
