Not happy with my Jazzy (a trade in sight)!

So here's the story... I bought a CP Jazzmaster...it's a beautiful instrument. Plays, and sounds great as well. It just isn't me. I a guy who likes the '50s, '60s department store "junk" guitars. I've had many and regret selling them. Now I have a chance to get one back that I gave to my cousin...(a harmony built silvertone black "bobkat"). Included in his trade is a silverface fender bassman 10. Of course, ultimately I be making my own decision, but would like thoughts on this.
Pickgaurd has been replaced with a reproduction.
Not a pic of actual amp. Stock pic from ampwares.
Thoughts on trading a CP Jazzy for a Bobkat and Bassman 10?

Have you been able to play the bassman? If you like the sound, it would seem like a good trade to me.

Oh yea, I love that thing. Like no other amp i've owned (which is a plus).

Seems like an easy choice to me than.

Go for what is exciting you.

While I do rather like the CP Jazzies, Bobkats and Bassman 10s both sound really cool too. Doesn't sound like a bad trade to me.

A Bassman is cooler than a CP Jazzy any day of the week.

It's true. I miss my Bassman 10 every day. I still have it, but the innards exploded (smoke and everything!) and I threw up on it at a party once.

the baseman 10 is THE best guitar related purchase I've ever made. The sovtek hasn't been touched since I got it and I don't miss my stupid blackheart at all.

Bassman Ten is the most metal amp I've ever heard. every dirt pedal I've tried through one sounded like fucking METAL. BUt then the natural "crunch" in it was much less metal. It was a lot more bassmany.
