Hi there, I found this guitar:
http://www.ebay.it/itm/CHITARRA-FENDER- ... 1c25eee688
It has written that the guitar have been refretted and the freatboard replaced with maple. Others parts still originals.
Do you think is a good deal? (here a new Mustang cots 800-900€ new, while used probably around 600€)

At that price I would say it absolutely is as long as you figure you're going to keep it. It's hard to estimate how much value is lost because of the messed-up fingerboard, but if you can live with it it looks like a better buy than a reissue.

I actually like that way it looks. It ooks like it's got some nice grain. But after 20 years of dots, I still get messed up a bit when i play something with blocks (or without anything at all.)

its not a 74, the neck would be earlier than that. and its a refin. would love a maple cap neck like that for real though.
550 euro is a lot, get it if you like it for sure, i would personally pass on it. but it is cool.

1971. Great birdseye. How many Fenders are in Italy?

Not many, I guess ... in USA how much you pay for a 71 (or 74) Mustang, just curious.
One more .. I've only played made in Japan Mustang, so I don't know ... the feeling of the neck is different? I got small hands btw...

That's a fine price for Europe, if it is actually a vintage Fender and if it plays ok. So if what you say is true about it, def no bad deal. You may get a Reissue around here cheaper, but no old american Mustang in what state of modding ever.
