did a kahler changeout

on my trusty old '84 Carvin DC200k with the gibson scale length (they don't make em like that anymore....)

the old 2300 pro lasted a long time, actually still working fine,
but i decided i wanted a hardtail.... and this new Kahler Hybrid, has the capability
of locking into a hardtail...... so i decided to go for it..

just sharing it here, for anybody that wants to know about the kahler that doesn't already

How do you "lock" the new one?

cur-
still have it, thought i might want to hold onto it for a while....
i suppose if someone replaced a couple of key parts (brass rollers) here and there, it'd be almost as good as new.

fran's got it right, it's just a allan screw, real simple.
you relax the trem forward, find the screw and align, and tighten it in.
once in, the bridge is amazingly solid, and the tone does tigthen up a bit.

i wouldn't change it up in the middle of a gig, the string slack tension changes a bit between adjustments....
but recording, it's choice.
