I almost got one just like this off of craigslist last summer for $80...the dude said he would hold it for me until I got off work.... After he got a million emails with more and more offers he then turned it into a bidding war..... I told him to forget it cuz I would not do the whole bidding war thing and hope it was still there when I got off work.... I hope he sold it for cheap and got screwed...

Damn, I can't believe that no one has snatched this one up!

I have texted the seller a few times. It seems he is not confident in the other deal he has. He quoted me $425 shipped, but if I get a shot at it, I will try to meet him in person when I am down in Houston in 2 weeks and get the $350 price. It looks really pristine.
I may put out some feelers to sell some pedals in case he decides to sell to me.

Are any of yours SS still stock? My favorite is the blue sparkle and the white, but this silver one seems in good shape. I would rather have a silver one rather than none at all.wadeaminute wrote:I haven't bought one for two years, and I'm getting itchy myself. There is a white one here in my city, but he wants $650. Looks to be pretty mint.

None are stock. I've had a Super-Sonic ever since 1998, and that one got new pickups right away. All five are custom now. I could switch the black one back to stock, as I kept all the original parts for that one.
I never thought that they should remain stock. I love the foundation of the Super-Sonic, but not the stock set-up.
This white one, If I get it, could remain stock. It looks pretty mint. Then I could make my current white one a Johnny Ramone tribute (black pickguard, strat pickup, mini-humbucker, mismatched knobs).

A Whole Bunch of Guitars. Some with sparkles. Some with Pearl. Some with racing stripes.
