I talked to the guy, it isn't a "Fendor" it's a Squier. And, a six-string bass? Also, a Strat. What?

I want to go to this guy's house and figure it out. I think this is not a bass guitar but a regular guitar.

Yeah that's what it looks like, but why would this guy think it is a bass guitar?

I emailed him and asked him if he was sure it was a bass. He responded:
when i looked it up online it came up as bass if not I apoligize for the confusion.
So, mystery solved? Sorry for creating a stupid thread.

Probably the same reason the guy can't spell 'fender' even though it's written on the guitar- he's a stupid twat.

Skill worth learning if you shop for guitars online: being able to spot a Squier/copy from a Fender without seeing the headstock.

Those pictures, for example: the fingerboard/inlays and pickguard are standard knock-off fare and the body edges aren't rounded enough. If it's a Squier it's an Affinity (thinner body), and if it's an Affinity with SSH it's from a StratPak. Inlays on copies are usually too small, and the 12th fret dots too far apart.
No Fender Strat has a single ply/bevel edge guard the same thickness as a 3-ply one, except special custom/deluxe circumstances. Single ply pickguards on a Fender denote '50s RI which is a thinner, non-beveled plastic.

It's a Squier that costs 60 dollars, could be worse.
