passive mixer, changed some stuff, doesn't work, help?!

I need something to connect more then my guitar to my pedals at the same time.

Will this passive mixer work? will i lose to much sound from the guitar?

You could try a Boss Line Selector.

i'm really broke, and have most of the parts to build this. Even if i wasn't broke, i like building pedals and this kind of stuff, it's an awesome felling when something i build with my own hands works perfectly!

Do you want the other devices to come through when your guitar is turned down to zero? Or will you be using a buffered pedal in front of this mixer? If so you may also want to put a series resistor in the guitar line.

There will be some loss of level.

I changed the design a bit, it doesn't work. Probably some ground stuff is wrong.

I'm assuming this is like a pickup toggle and centre is "both on".
Can you be specific about what "doesn't work?

the toggle just has 2 positions. I just want it to change from one input to the other.

On that diagram, the labelling of the tip and ring connectors doesn't seem to tie up with the construction of the jack sockets.

What is the problem - hum, silence or what?

Can you post good close-up pictures?
