Gold Mustang Bridge

Post by DasBeef »

I've always wanted to replace the standard bridge on my Jag with a Mustang one. Problem is, my Jag has gold hardware, and I'm OCD.
So anyone ever stumbles upon a gold Mustang Bridge? Can anyone suggest anything else that I may be able to replace it with?
Thanks in advance...

I don't think I've ever seen a gold mustang bridge. Your best bet is probably getting one gold plated which is probably a lot of money. Can you fit mustang saddles on a jaguar bridge plate? If so you could probably cut costs ever so slightly or just live with a gold plate & chrome saddles. I would say that you could anodize the bridge, unfortunately you'd have to de-chrome & anodize the steel but the texture & possibly coloring would be different from the gold plated parts.

Gold plating is probably the best option. Maybe get a set of saddles and get them done.
Does the screws on the Jaguar bridge fit the Mustang saddles?

OCD will not allow this. Tuners and control plates are all gold.
