Squier VM Tele Custom I (not the one with P90s)

Anyone here have any experience with these? I didn't even know it existed, but I came across it while researching the VM Tele Special. I've been thinking about getting a guitar with humbuckers and the 7.5 radius is a bonus, but are these pickups crap or easily changed out for better humbuckers (something like Filtertrons, maybe?).

I had one .. And I replaced the pickups with GFS Retrotron Liverpools . And I regret ever getting rid of it .
The neck was great but the bridge was bolted on slightly cockeyed and the screws in the pickguard were put in crooked . However a great player .

I had one for a short while, Serfx's old one. Great guitar. I got rid of it to make room for new toys, but I kept the neck for another build. Great neck.

I had a Telecaster Custom II, the one with P90s. Loved it. It got stolen. I'd have had it today if not. But FUCK it was heavy. Not sure if it was heavier than my Batwing, but it was heavy.

i had the yellow one w p90s -- I gave it away to a friend who wanted 2 learn guitar

Heavy ? You think ? It was lighter than my Strat .. If you wanna know heavy you should check out a Schecter Ultracure .. By far my favorite guitar but is as heavy as 2 Fender Mustangs .. No exaggeration . Quite possibly the heaviest guitar on the market .

Are these actually 7.25" radius? I have the custom II and its supposed to be too but it isn't...
