NGD: OLP Music Man for 70 dollars!

Oh shit. Look what I got today.
A motherfucking OLP MM1 with Floyd Rose.
It sounds really good, especially since I got it for 70 dollars. I was looking around and they were around 300 new, so this is awesome for me. I love this thing! Look at it!
The only thing is that it's missing a string insert block and there was crazy fret buzz, but all I had to do was adjust the truss rod a bit and raise the bridge height and it was perfectly fine. As for the string block, I'll be able to get one, I just need to know where I can find a place that sells them around here. It still sounds pretty good with these five strings.
I love Music Man guitars! They're full scale but they make them seem so small. I love that!

hot for cheapster
Amazing deal you got. I was mainly watching the OLP stingray basses when they were out, forgot about these things.

Oh my god, that was both awesome and horrible. I applaud your pun.
But yeah, my friend said he had this guitar sitting under his bed for about 5 months and I told me I could have it for 70. That same friend sold me his Frontman 212 about half a year ago too. He's a cool guy.

That's awesome man! Those OLP guitars were really well made! I had one of the stingray bass copies and I loved it. I sold it a few years ago when I was hard up for cash and didn't need a backup bass anymore.

Also, my friend gave me a pack of Power Slinky Ernie Ball strings. So hey, free strings, I can't complain what brand they are.

Yeah, that only reason I'm okay with the Floyd is the capability for Modest Mouse harmonic wiggling, and it stays in tune better than my cyclone when I abuse the trem. A bitch to tune when I have to, though.

yeah my first electric guitar had one and definitely contributed to the intimidation factor

Ooh, I would not wish a Floyd Rose on any beginner guitarist.
Anyway, this guitar sounds kick ass through my turbo rat.

I thought the D-Tuner was only on the Peavey EVH Guitars and onward...

Fran, no, there's no D-Tuner, that's just the screw to hold in the E string hanging out, which I suspect is how the block got lost. And I believe that even the Licensed Floyd Roses are able to equipped with a D-Tuner.

That's pretty sharp, and a steal. I love the minimal controls.

If only. It's a floating Floyd, unfortunately

damn thing takes forever to tune.
