Rondo EGC-200 SJM Case

Post by somemothersson »

I was doing a lot of research for a hard case for my jaguar and there was a lot of speculation about the Rondo case but not much info. Since my pockets aren't deep enough to allow me to purchase a Fender hard case I opted for the Rondo. Doesn't fit quite right but with a piece of firm foam from the hardware store we will be in business. The center neck support block is made from a dense foam as opposed to wood as I have read other cases have. The storage pocket space is fairly generous and is more than accommodating for cables, picks, straps and the occasional loaded handgun for you sinners out there. The case does look cheap up close, you get what you pay for. Based on first impressions it will do the job of keeping my guitar from getting damaged, hopefully, for years to come.

Here are some pictures.

Useful info for US'ers, I should think. Like the look of the Jaguar. Not sure how long-lasting those corners will be on that case.
