It's not that bad, plenty of people here could whip that thing into a more valuable guitar in about a month.

Funny pickguard shape is funny.

Yeah I know but its an awesome more rare vintage guitar. Yeah I thought that was funny too. Lol I think it's plexi glass.

Not sure it's worth $1000 in this condition. I'd check the Vintage Guitar Price Guide before making a decision, but the true vintage value has been destroyed. I bet it's worth about $500 in this shape and under $1000 restored.

Now an unmolested original, that's a whole different deal.

Cheers,

That's totally what I was thinking but I don't really know the exact prices on these.

Agree. The guy doesn't know what to expect either.

The only bad part is the rout, which is a shit fix with a shitter photo. I could have that looking good as new in under an hour. I would want to show the back scratches.

I made a bid on this wrecked Starcaster NECK and the guy wouldn't budge. $425 with the headstock clipped. It's been sitting there for months. He said it's a fair price, even though it clearly isn't selling.

Why the hell would someone clip that? Yeah that's a bit much. I've seen one sell for around $500 on there before in good condition.

This is the best swinger I've seen. That pickguard works better than the stock. Love it
