Lots of low-end Dean/Ibanez stuff in there from the looks of it.

I actually always figured that the majority of things GFS sell (including Xaviers) come from deals like this, and that these won't be sold for any cheaper than their current stock of bodies. It is unusually transparent of them to post a pic of a raw purchase like that (though I'm not on their FB); from their product descriptions it sounds as if they're trying to build their image as a cross between Seymour Duncan's shop/The North Pole. The bodies and necks will probably sell at like $40-$60 each depending on finish/lack thereof.

Yeah, there looks to be a lot of non-standard parts here. I think it'd be pretty expensive to do a build here...

Figured I'd post an update for those that aren't following GFS on facebook.

Clearance page is up!

Cheap as can be! Low-end Ibanez or not, wood is wood and most of these are finished enough to need very minor work.

They're serious about selling. I wish I had the bandwidth and ideas to turn these into stuff.

Fuck me, they are cheap. When you factor in their clearance non-GFS pickups/cheaper hardware they sell on GFS you could slap together a bolt-on SG or vaguely Gibsony/Dean DC type of guitar for less than $100, certainly a superstrat for even less.

It seems like they're scrubbing logos on anything that would've previously been available in the US, like Ibanez or Dean. In the photos of the necks in the factory you can see some blurred-out logos. They've also buzzed the finish off just the very top of certain bodies, suggesting there was a tacky design or something (like a Hardluck Kings guitar you might see at a party somewhere).

I had never seen any sort of thing like this with any business until GFS did it. I was a little impressed.

Go on every day at all times and as soon as they are listed they are sold out. I missed out on some nice tele bodies and necks.
