Squier classic vibe 70's strat with Fuzzzz

Post by hendrix1234 »

Heres a project i just finished up, had an idea to put a fuzzface circuit into my strat and here it is.
the pickups are dimarzio area 67 in neck,58 in middle and 61 in bridge(great combo) and i got a guy locally to make me a fuzz face circuit so i could fit it in the guitar.

the set up is stacked vol/tone from squier jazzmaster,5 way pickup selector,on/off toggle for fuzz, then chrome knobs are fuzz and volume.

Nifty. Love a nice black strat.

How is this powered? I really like the idea of effects in a guitar (even if it's just subtle stuff like a buffer/boost like the old Westones), but am not keen on using batteries. I do fancy building some sort of phantom power supply using an xlr or stereo jack, but can only imagine the hum and noise issues.

Curious as well!

Though the man uses a Moollon Fuzz 14 (silicon Fuzz Face) and Lotus Octah in the clip, With that lovely Skwiyah I'm sure you can also DO AN CRISPIAN.

I did that with my Eko Cobra, but I had a slider for the gain. I still have the circuit but I'd be embarrassed to post pics.
