EDIT- Amy's out of town so I made this using Garageband - all the sounds are from the Amp Sims and pedals on board. Sorry for no chatter, couldn't figure out a way to do that yet on the iMac

EDIT - used it on a Sell Crazy track - all the right channel guitars + solo When You Go
Just installed the Mustang bridge benecol sent me which has helped things no end, I think I'm just too much of a clogged to use the stock bridge, plus Tim made it easy for me by sending me it for free (!) what a gent. Intonated and set up in no time
Next on the list is a mint pick guard, which was posted from Holland on Friday, should turn up soon. Here's some half decent photos in the meantime. You can tell Amy is away can't you?

Did you have any issues with the bridge being a different radius?
Where have you ordered the pickguard from? Is it for a Squier VM or standard AVRI / MIJ / CP? Was thinking of picking up the sonic blue Jazzmaster but wanted to tone the white down a bit.
Also, you appear to have the same duvet cover as me. That or you broke into my house to photograph your new guitar, which I accept is fairly unlikely

Oh, and do an demo.
I might be able to sort a demo of sorts tomorrow but I also have some pedals to build.
The bridge is 7.25 its true as opposed to the necks 9.5 and yes its a little noticeable that the d and g strings have a slightly higher action, but I doubt you would notice it if you didn't know already, it plays nicely and feels very solid.
It's ikea I think, the duvet, I'm not the burglar type

Yup it could actually be dropped even lower but I want to use the Trem. I'm sure if I shimmed the neck it would have to be fitted lifted up a bit. Mustang bridges are more proud than jag/jazz bridges I think
The stock bridge was pretty low also, the action when it arrived was very low, a bit too low for my tastes.

Honour demands that I should point out that Fran sent it to me for nowt in the first place a while back too.
If you had told me 7 years ago when i caught "the bug" that squier was going to make these INCREDIBLE guitars, I would have told you to fuck right off.
Lookin hot Mike, mint will seal the deal.
Is the neck "yellow" or vintagey looking? Down here in the antarctic part of the antipodes we never see such things in shops.
