Squier 2012 VM Jazzmaster Mods - USA guard & Bridge Ratt

Fitting a USA pickguard on, Bracket issues and PTFE taping the bridge screws to stop the rattling:
This is my first attempt at commentary, so believe me, i'm cringing at the sound of my own voice too
but hopefully it'll help some people out.

Pickguard - The USA pickguards are made for a different sized bracket used on the roller-knobs. So i bought an Allparts replacement bracket (63mm between the screw-holes i think). Unfortunately, the Allparts one has smaller holes than the Squier VM bracket which means the pots won't actually fit through it! Luckily, I have my Squier J Mascis Jazzmaster open and took the bracket from that, which works perfectly. I'll have to drill out the Allparts bracket when i put my Mascis Jazzmaster back together.
Bridge Rattling Issues - There's 2 solutions commonly used to stop the bridge from rattling, Loctite 242 Threadlocker 'glue' and PTFE tape. i could only find the PTFE tape available locally so i've gone with that. Following the lead on Offset Guitars Forum, i've gone with just taping up just the 2 main bridge screws as these seem to be the cause of the rattle, instead of the saddle screws (which would be a pain to also tape up) so we'll see how this goes first.. i'll test that out on my next video..
