NPD Tonerider AD1 Analog Delay

Just picked this up off the bay cheapy cheap, and am looking forward to tinkering in practice...had a little go the other night and it sounded fun...
Gutzzz..any idea what this is based on?...

That diecast box is a well-thought-out piece of engineering, with that battery partition and PCB mounting points. I hadn't heard of Tonerider before.
Six 3208 delay chips?!

Yeh I thought that as I opened it..case is a bit bigger than an mxr, but very sturdy..
Website says 750ms of delay time, so I'm assuming that's why there's 6 chips..then the bl3102 is the clock chip...

I've got one of these. Bought it to replace my Carbon Copy. The repeats are nicely mushy, but the volume of the delay doesn't reach unity and the feedback level doesn't go very high either. Kept mine on the strength of the sweet repeats.

I had a blast through someones Artec Analog Delay the other week and i have to say i was very impressed. Probably the same pcb as this one.

This one is legit "Analog". It has BBD's and a clock driver IC = MOAR TOANZ.

I have one, and it basically fulfills all of my delay needs. Who cares even if it's "analog".

this pedal has real analog BBD delay chips and a real Clock driver IC, the same setup used in genuine analogue mojo pedals like the Memory Man or DM-2. The BL3208A are the BBD chips and the BL3102 is the clock driver IC.

Yeah, but when one refers to "analogue delay", doesn't that just mean that the relevant chips are analogue rather than digital? No?
