Would that be possible?
Many tia!
(If so I'm gonna replace the neck on my '71 Bronco and turn the body-routing into a DuoSonic style one).

Do you mean Mustang Bridge or Duo Sonic Bridge ? Installing a Duo Sonic would require filing the Bronco route.
Why do you want to remove the original Bronco tremolo? Why do you need to replace the neck?
Post some photos and it might help us answer your question better.

Hi
The neck sucks/is warped so now I do have some nice tuners, a nice Bronco body and a Bronco trem without arm........
I once did have a nice '64 MusicMaster II and I would like to have a DuoSonic (and I do have such vintage bridge).
If I can put a Mustang Bridge on the Bronco body I could convert it to a Mustang, I don't like the Bronco trem.....
Hope this make it a bit more clear!

You might do better to sell the Bronco and get Mustang to save yourself some work.
If you end up sticking around here, I might be interested in buying your Bronco Tremolo if you end up following through with the conversion.

That's fine.
We just have a policy of no trades or buying with new members until they reach at least 50 posts and then you have access to the Classifieds.
We just don't want people dropping in, selling and buying gear and then dissappearing. If you end up sticking around, then maybe we can see.
I recently got a Bronco to go along with my 2 Mustangs and I just love the Bronco Trem.
Good luck with your project.

ok, did see that this afternoon (in the Netherlands) regarding the 50 posts, working on that.....
I would prefer to have a "< 24 3/4" scale" guitar anyway/anytime.
For my work (buidling/modding amps) I do need (and already have) a good Strat, Les Paul and Tele.
My 1st electric was a 24 3/4" Aria Jazzmaster style guitar (I still have the neck and body
), I did sell the '64 MusicMaster II because of some unexpected expenses and I do have a '71 Bronco with some issues.
I don't mind the Mustang trem but I would already be very happy with a cool vibe-rich MusicMaster II or DuoSonic II.
Later!

Just remember that a Bronco is a 24" scale guitar and if you want to convert the guitar to 24.75" scale you will have to move the bridge back or get a different/conversion neck or both. Fender Cyclones and Toronados are 24.75" scale guitars. Squier cyclones are even available.

oops, sorry, wasn't very clear
I wanna have a good playing 24" scale Fender guitar;
1) DuoSonic II,
2) MusicMaster II
or a
3) Mustang
Don't have to be completely stock/original, a '70 one would be nice (year of birth) but the most important thing is vibe and tone for me.
I know those parts/necks/bridge have to fit, a Strat neck won't match a Bronco body (
I tried it and the intonation was totally non adjustable)
Thanks!!!

You should definitely check out the new Squier Mustangs and Jaguars. Great prices for what see to be quality guitars. Lots of the members here are picking them up.

Please, please, please don't mod your Bronco! Buy a Squier Mustang or Cyclone instead, then sell your Bronco to one of us. I promise we'll give it a loving home.
Thanks,

I wouldn't be surprised to learn that Broncos get converted to Mustangs for the availability of the parts, and good resale. I would think a Bronco would be rare in the Netherlands.

Broncos are real popular with Bronco people. If you want a Musicmaster/Duosonic/Mustang do a trade with someone who loves the Bronco and has suitable stuff to trade with you. Don't butcher a perfectly good Bronco body/trem. Trade it out.
I'm a MM/DS/Mustang person so I get what you're looking for, trying to turn Bronco into that tho...You're just making unnecessary work for yourself.
Also don't feel offended if you're asked to send out your stuff first as a new member.
(apologies if I'm going over old ground cos I didn't read the whole thread, I'm drunk and phonescaling. Anything I do wrong is all autocorrect)
